Summary:  Homologous recombination repair of replication-independent double-strand breaks requires the activation of ATM followed by ATM mediated phosphorylation of DNA repair proteins. DNA repair and signaling proteins are then recruited to double-strand breaks. The ends of the DNA double strand breaks must be resectioned and RPA complexes associate with the resulting ssDNA. Homologous DNA pairing and strand exchange then occurs followed by DNA repair synthesis and resolution of D-loop structures.

Summary:  Cyclin A can also form complexes with Cdc2 (Cdk1). Together with three B-type cyclins, Cdc2 (Cdk1) regulates the transition from G2 into mitosis. These complexes are activated by dephosphorylation of T14 and Y15.
